Healing my leg while running.

Good morning.

It’s been very hot, so please take care of your body in this terrible heat.


Every day I jog about 13 kilometers in around 80 minutes. It has become a part of my life. If I don’t jog, I feel bad, just like when I don’t brush my teeth. Jogging puts me in a great condition, so I’ll keep doing it every day.


For the last three months, I’ve been experiencing pain in my right leg, specifically in my Achilles’s heel. It seems like every few years, my right Achilles’ heel ends up in this situation, so I’m quite familiar with it.


When this happens, I try to heal it while running. I don’t want to stop jogging every day. I know it takes a lot of time to heal this way, but I’m determined to keep jogging.


Lately, I’ve been dreaming of participating in the Honolulu marathon, which is a full marathon of about 42.195 kilometers. I’ve never run such a long distance before. I don’t want to join a regular marathon: I specifically want to join the Honolulu marathon. Can I do it? Every day, I ask myself if I truly want to participate. After a few more days, if I still feel the same, I will make the decision to join it. But before that, I must heal my right Achilles’ heel.
