Yesterday, I talked with my friend. He asked me about Hawaii. He had heard about the fire in Maui. He wondered if people could visit Hawaii. But actually, they can. He did’t know where Maui is in Hawaii. For example, Maui is about 100 km away from Oahu. Right now, it’s better for travelers to avoid the western part of Maui.
Some people might think that they should’t go to Hawaii because of this incident. But that’s not true. You can still go to Hawaii islands without going to Maui.
If you want to travel to Hawaii, it’s a good idea. Hawaii’s economy depends on tourism. So, if you want to help Maui, you can support Hawaii by traveling there and spending money. And of course, it’s important to show respect for Maui.
