Good morning.
I turned 48 on September 10th. That means I have two years until I reach 50. Right now, I’m both a player and the manager of my business. However, when I turn 50, I’ll need to focus solely on managing. I have to transition from being a player, handling the business’s ins and outs, to concentrating on overseeing it.
Let me use a baseball analogy. I’m transitioning to a manager, not a player. This changes my approach to the game. I’ll be on the field, but not actively playing. Instead, I’ll be directing and overseeing.
To manage my company better, I need more time. Currently, I juggle many roles across various projects. But as people take on new responsibilities, they have to let go of some of their current tasks. It’s just how things work.
I view this change positively. It’s about taking the next step in my life. Turning 50 opens up a new way of living.
This has been my goal for the next two years and continues to be my focus.
