Good morning .
I had a chance to speak with someone who speaks English as their first language. Yesterday, I had a conversation with foreigners at a train station. They asked me if I could speak English, and I replied that I could speak a little. When I said that, I felt excited to start talking. Lately, I’ve been wanting to talk to people who speak English fluently. So, I was really happy to get that opportunity.
The foreigners asked me which train they should take. I explained the answer to them. My English might not have been perfect in terms of grammar and word choice, but I managed to explain. They understood what they needed to know. I hoped they would enjoy their trip.
When we have the desire to express ourselves, we can communicate with each other. Even if we’re not the best speakers.
I’m eager to have more and more conversations with native English speakers.
